Originally from Burkina Faso, Esprit Libre is a slam poetry artist whose words are distinguished by their depth, commitment, and conscious dimension. His writing, nourished by African history, ancestral spirituality, and contemporary social realities, is part of a quest for truth, dignity, and cultural rebirth. From a young age, he chose slam poetry as a means of expression and action. For him, words are not mere entertainment: they are a peaceful weapon, an educational tool, and a lever for social transformation. On stage, Esprit Libre combines emotional intensity, oratorical mastery, and sincerity, captivating both young people and institutional audiences. His career is marked by constant progress on national and international stages. A finalist and then runner-up in the national slam poetry championship, he became the national eloquence champion in 2025. That same year, he represented Burkina Faso has performed on several major stages: the World Slam Poetry Cup in Mexico, the inter-university global campaign in Gabon, and the African Slam Poetry Cup, where it ranked 7th continentally, thus entering the African Top 10. Today, Esprit Libre pursues a clear ambition: to bring conscious African voices to the world’s stages, to contribute to the awakening of African youth, and to inscribe its work as a lasting cultural and memorial legacy for future generations.
