Baaji Joseph Aondoakura is a writer and poet from Benue State, Nigeria, who writes under the pseudonym ‘Baaji Akura’. He is a graduate of English and Literary Studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Akura discovered his passion for writing in 2016 and has been writing since then. In 2025 he was the BBAAF (Benue Book and Arts Festival) and ALS (Abuja Literary Society) slam champ. In 2026, he emerged as the National slam champion.
