Born in Mexico City, in my thirties, I live in Coacalco, where there are still green hills and eagles in the trees. A mother for 10 years and counting, a teacher by vocation, a graphic designer by training, I’m a fan of tools, cutting and painting, sewing for hours on my machine, coffee is good at any time, and if it’s piping hot, even better. I love skirts and colorful clothes, and glitter, sweet food and endless chilaquiles, loyal, a bit of a crybaby, an excellent hostess, and always ready to dance and play soccer as long as my knee doesn’t give out. I found poetry in solitude, I had faith, a daughter far away and a mother with cancer showed me where to write from, and now I’m happily in love with words. Runner-up in the National Slam MX, representative of my beloved Slamin for two consecutive years, I write from where I know, live, observe, love, and cry. Mom is mom, she’s always up for anything, and there goes the water!
