Amanda Zuma is a master’s student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, specializing in Drama and Performance Studies. With an undergraduate degree in Media Studies and Performance Studies, she brings a unique blend of creativity and media expertise to her work. Her journey in the world of theatre began in 2015. She is a trained performer, stage manager, director, tutor, and facilitator She has performed at Hexagon Theatre in Pietermaritzburg and directed Sophia Town. She is known for facilitating thought-provoking conversations in drama classes and has hosted shows for Poetry Africa, Time of the Writer, and the Durban International Film Festival. Amanda is a staunch advocate for the power of the arts in all its forms and believes that art should be accessible to everyone.
