Yastricia Santos is a multidisciplinary artist from Pernambuco who moves between spoken word poetry, performance, and Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) interpretation. She has built a powerful and sensitive voice, marked by orality, memory, and stage presence. Winner of Slam BR 2025 and the Abya Yala Spoken Word Poetry Cup, her work echoes social and emotional crossings, connecting audience and word. Also a Libras interpreter, she expands access to culture and reaffirms the power of inclusive communication, strengthening bridges between diverse audiences and artistic languages in the contemporary scene. She is an actress with Coletivo de Teatro Negro Macacada and plays the lead role of Caliuga, challenging silences and celebrating plural existences.
