Xolani Mbhele is a student at the University of Johannesburg, under the Faculty of Science, and a dynamic performance artist. He has featured in productions such as 1001 Nights, Macabre, and The Revolution of Words with UJ Arts, and has shared the stage with leading poets at Poetry Africa since 2023. Returning this year as a director, Xolani continues to expand his artistic footprint. Beyond the arts, he serves as a Volunteer Champion Ambassador and an intern at the UJ Community Engagement Unit, reflecting his commitment to service and social impact. Currently, he wears yet another hat as a student director, bringing to life his original work, Two Sides of the Same Coin, which he both wrote and directed.
