The arts teacher, mentor, poet, and storyteller from Limpopo is also known as Karabo ‘Karamel’ Bopape. Her work bridges memory, spirit, and everyday life. Rooted in African truth, her voice has travelled from local stages to international platforms, always bringing honesty, heart, and a rhythm that feels like home wherever it is heard. She has won the Goddess of the Mic and Poetry Africa Open Mic Awards and was an Indoni Miss Cultural SA finalist. She is also the founder of Karamel Entertainment, Turfscoop and the Turflooop Arts and Music Awards, where she promotes local talent and creates platforms for artistic expression in her community.
