Alicia “Milo” Hove is a Cape Town-raised, Johannesburg-based poet, writer, and performer known for their powerful words and captivating stage presence. A member of the UJ Arts Academy for Poetry and 1st-place winner of the UJ Slam Competition 2024. Milo has also had their work featured in two poetry magazines. With a passion for authenticity, their writing explores themes of identity, vulnerability, and existence. Beyond the stage, Milo composes music, plays guitar, and volunteers in the community. With a love for film, music, and storytelling, her work blends lyrical depth with a commitment to creating spaces for truth and self-discovery.
