Luleka Mhlanzi is a multi-award-winning poet, actress, and facilitator and the founder of Luleka MhlanziArts NPC. Her debut poetry collection Confiscated Identity was published in 2022. She produced and performed the one-woman poetry show Conversing Kingdoms and has performed at numerous other festivals nationally and internationally. She is the deputy chairperson of PMB Poetry Sessions and ambassador for the Slam Awards International. She has received several awards, including the Certificate of Appreciation by the Ward-16 Councillor, and the Slam Awards International Honorary Medallion, and was recognised as one of the Sunday World Unsung Heroes and a Mail & Guardian Top200 Young South African.
