Nhlakanipho Thabethe, well known as Steel The Poet on stage, is a poet who writes mostly about the unknown. Most of his writing explores distant galaxies, reincarnation and the stories hidden in the dark. He is from Stanger and is studying at Durban University of Technology. He draws inspiration from many great minds including Isanusi Baba Credo Mutwa, Modise Sekgothe, Lethu Nkwanyana, Mutle Mothibe, Siphokazi Jonas and other great writers. He sees the world as one big riddle to be cracked and he does so in his poems. He calls himself “THE STORM”” because when he takes the stage, you feel his wrath.
