Lex LaFoy is a South African Rapper, Writer, Creative Project Manager and Community Development Specialist from Durban. Some of her career highlights include being nominated for Best Female and Best Mixtape in the first ever South African Hip Hop Awards in 2012. In 2013 Lex was one of 30 South African artists selected for the exclusive Red Bull Bass Camp. In 2014 she represented South Africa in the Purple Velvet all-female hip-hop Tour performing 17 shows over 5 weeks across Germany, Switzerland and Austria. To date, Lex LaFoy’s seventh studio album The Lexikon 2.0 Project is set for release this October 2023.
