Boni T. Esaïe B, also known as Lanky, is an artist and slam poet. He is a radio and television presenter and the general coordinator of the FESE International Festival, now renamed REA. He is also the president of the cultural company Kalamou. He participated in the creation of Bobo’s first slam poetry collective (2009). In 2012, he and his peers founded the group Afrikan’da, releasing their first slam album, “Parol’à ma plume,” in 2014. His latest album was released in February 2025. His career has been recognized with numerous nominations and awards, most recently the Digital Inclusion Ambassador Award. He has served on the jury for slam, singing, and rap competitions on several occasions. He also travels to various African capitals to moderate panels and masterclasses. His last tour took him to Switzerland, Germany, and France between August and September 2025.
