Where language becomes memory, music and meaning, Sindiswa Zulu makes her creative home. She is a poet, curator and language practitioner whose work is rooted in isiZulu, African oral traditions and lived experience. Active on the poetry stage since 2010, she works across performance, publishing, facilitation and cultural programming. Sindiswa is the author of Mayine and Ngizibuka Kuwe, with poetry and short fiction appearing in Storytelling Tree 2, edited by Dr Gcina Mhlophe. Her work explores language as a carrier of memory, identity and culture. In 2026, she received the Nozincwadi Storyteller Excellence Award for advancing isiZulu through art.
