Komoru Nakauchi is a Japanese poet, actor, and playwright. He is a three-time national poetry slam champion and achieved a consecutive title this time, again, in Japan nationally. Nakauchi represented Japan at the World Poetry Slam Championship 2025 and is returning again as the national representative. His work blends sharp humor with social observation, irony, and quiet pathos, focusing on overlooked details of everyday life. Drawing from regional experiences and contemporary issues, his performances balance laughter and reflection. Nakauchi continues to explore how spoken word can connect personal stories with collective memory across cultures through performance, language, empathy, shared time.
