Rosette is her name, both on stage and in everyday life. Born in Haiti, the island she calls home, she left as a child and moved to southwest France, where she grew up and continues to live. Curiosity has always been a driving force in her life, but writing remains her constant. Poetry found her at an early age and has stayed with her ever since. Through her writing, Rosette explores dreams and demons, silence and the night, and the small, often overlooked details that quietly shape our lives. For Rosette, poetry is also about performance. She is drawn to the tension, adrenaline, joy and intimacy of the stage, particularly that electric moment before her voice meets the microphone. From writing beside her bedside lamp to travelling all the way to South Africa, Rosette continues to follow poetry wherever it leads
