Matic Ačko was born in Maribor, Slovenia, where he currently lives. He obtained master’s degree in industrial design in 2018. He now works as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, but is also very active in the field of [slam] poetry. He is the Slovenian slam champion of 2021 and 4-time national vice champion. Currently, he is the president of the Maribor slam group »Slam beasts« and organises slam events in his home town and across Slovenia. He published his first collection of poetry titled »Requiem For Snow« in 2023.
