Elio Lislerud is a Norwegian non-binary poet, songwriter, and slam poet. At thirteen, they developed ME/CFS, often leaving them bedridden, but reading opened a window to the world. They began writing poetry at eighteen while contributing to En Motforestilling at Den Nasjonale Scene in Bergen, which sparked their passion for writing and performance. Since 2021, Elio has performed on major Norwegian stages and won the Norwegian Slam Poetry Championship in 2025. Their work has taken them to international platforms, including Paris and Berlin. An environmental activist and musician, Elio performs with the band TRUSE and collaborates widely across artistic disciplines. They strive to create inclusive spaces where diverse voices can exist freely.
