This multi-talented creative’s practices include spoken word, where she aspires to heal through music and other forms of creativity. She writes and performs both poetry and music, drawing inspiration from a broad range of experiences and her cultural background. She was the April winner of the monthly Boardroom Slam hosted by Poetry Africa. The Durban-based writer is also active in social upliftment and empowerment, participating in poetry and youth development programmes with organisations such as Africa Unite, where she uses her skill set to inspire youth leadership and social change and facilitates cultural conversations.
