The young Johannesburg-based poet and spoken word artist of Namibian and Nigerian descent is also a mother, mentor, copywriter and writing facilitator and has made significant contributions to South African poetry. Her work often explores identity, heritage, self-discovery, and the experience of being African in contemporary society. Scene. She hosts annual poetry workshops at Death in the Afternoon, a literature house for workshops and performances she co-founded.
