Yamoria is a poetry duo comprised of South African poets, writers, presenters, authors, voiceover artists, and podcast hosts, Mfumo and Fumane. They are intentionally redesigning the images of black women in society and drawing inspiration from the strength that lies in the human form. The duo published Colour Me Melanin, a poetry collection that celebrates women from various African cultures. They have also launched a podcast, The Queen’s Fortress, centred on poetry, music, and literature.
