Tshegofatjo Makhafola is a writer and a spoken word poet who captures and reflects the human experience using imagery. He was the winner of the JHB Arts Alive Slam 2023, Poetry Africa and Windybrow Slam 2023 and Louder than a Vote 2022 and a semi-finalist in Poetry Africa Slam 2022. He has been published in Poetry Potion, New Contrast (issues 197 and 200), bathmagg, Brittle Paper, Botsotso, and adda.
