Torsten Clear Rybka is an award-winning poet, director, photographer, and event host. Born and raised in Pretoria, he released his first EP titled Tomorrow in 2013. A year later he released a few singles and founded a poetry movement known as Speak Child. He has produced, directed, and performed several poetry productions at the South African State Theatre, Market Theatre and Joburg Theatre. He hosted the Poetry Africa semis and finals slam competition in 2023. He has performed in the USA, Sweden, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Qwaqwa, Witbank, Giyani, Johannesburg, and Pretoria.
