Sizakele Nkosi is a poet, children’s story writer, and creative writing lecturer at Sol Plaatje University in Kimberley. Raised in Soweto, she facilitates poetry and jazz sessions through her NPO, House of Siza. Her debut poetry collection, u-grand malume? was shortlisted for the Ingrid Jonker Prize 2024. Nkosi has authored nine books with Oxford University Press, including Isigodlo Se Njabulo and Usebenzile Ntando. She serves on the Culture Sector Committee for the SA National Commission for UNESCO
