Serame Makhele, aka Icebound, is a spoken word performance artist, writer, event coordinator, and activist from Bloemfontein, South Africa. He calls his style of performance poetry rhyme and rhythm, reason and content. He participated in Poetry Africa in 2015 and has performed in poetry festivals nationally and internationally, including Speak the Mind and the Northern Cape Writers Festival. His work has been published in various journals, anthologies, and online platforms. He graduated from Unisa with a BA in Communication Science and is enrolled in a postgraduate program in media studies. He is a member of the National Writers Association of South Africa.
