Philile Njikija is a South African artistic researcher, creative producer, arts administrator, and emerging filmmaker. In 2023, she participated in the Durban FilmMart program and her production In The Last Hour Sold, has been touring nationally for the past two years. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in drama and performance at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her creative endeavours are driven by a commitment to leveraging art as a platform for advocating African women, cultures, and heritages. She is dedicated to fostering the autonomy of African artists using their cultural and traditional narratives
