Frank Meintjies has been active in cultural work over several decades. He participates regularly in public readings and facilitates poetry workshops. His creative writing has been included in several publications, including Botsotso Literary Journal, Ons Klyntji and Absolute Africa. His poetry collections include Lockdown Poems. a set of three chapbooks Unfettered Days, Connexions and My Rainbow and he has written several short stories for children. He has written extensively on arts and culture and plays an active role in the National Writers Association of South Africa
