Pralini Naidoo is a poet and storyteller and has just published her first collection of poetry and short stories Wild has Roots. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of the Western Cape, department of Women and Gender studies. Her research is focussed on the relationship between women and seed within the context of indenture with aims to recover and discover hidden narratives of erased histories.
