báfẹ́mi Thanni is a poet whose works of poetry and fiction have received Pushcart Prize nominations. He spends his time between the cities of Ibadan and Lucille, making attempts at beauty. He currently serves as a poetry editor at Chestnut Review and a writing fellow at the Johannesburg Institute of Advanced Study. His poems have appeared in the 20.35 Anthology, Kissing Dynamite Poetry, Wildness, SAND, Parentheses Journal, Contemporary Verse 2 and elsewhere. He was shortlisted for the 2022 Alpine Fellowship Poetry Prize and honourably mentioned by the Berlin Writing Prize in the same year.
