Many global women activists highlight our unequal society’s vast discrepancies. Women’s voices have mobilised and organised themselves into powerful movements based on solidarity to bring about social changes. The Poetry Africa festival recognises the impact of the voices of women poets, and this session celebrates a selection of these women poets whose voice of courage continues to transform our societies.
