Tshifhiwa Given Mukwevho, BA Creative Writing (left with two modules) Unisa, is an editor, proofreader and writer. He is an award-winning prolific author who writes in English and Tshivenḓa. His love for literature has had him read and recite his prose and poetry in several book festivals, schools, prisons, refugee camps and airports in South Africa, China, Algeria, Hong Kong and Dubai.
He participated in the Jozi Book Fair in SA (2011), Beijing International Book Fair in China (2014), Time of the Writer in SA (2015), FiSAHARA Festival in Algeria (2015 and 2016), Polokwane Literary Fair (2012 and 2015), and Vhembe Poetry Festival in SA (2015).
His published books include – among others – A Traumatic Revenge (short stories, 2011), Mveledzo na Zwigevhenga (children’s book, 2015), It Gets Deeper (Poetry, 2020), It Was Getting Late (Poetry, 2017), The Other Side of Darkness (due 2020), Ṅwananga Nandi! (Drama, 2016), Melody of the Soul (Poetry, 2020). In 2020, he published a serious of teensy and young adult novellas, entitled Kidnapped, A Sense of Respect, A Change of Heart, Bad Company, and Big Happiness.
