Titilope Sonuga is an award-winning poet, writer and performer who calls both Canada and Nigeria home.
She was the winner of the 2011 Canadian Authors’ Association Emerging Writer Award for her collection Down To Earth.
Her second collection Abscess was published in 2014 by Geko Publishing (South Africa).
In 2015 she was a Resident Poet for the Open Society (OSIWA) Foundation on Goree Island, off the coast of Senegal.
Her third collection of poetry This Is How We Disappear is forthcoming with Write Bloody North is available at writebloodynorth.ca.
Her poetry has been translated into Italian, German and Slovak.
